拉博·德·圣艾蒂安（Rabaut de Saint Etienne，1743~1793），法国温和派革命者、第十届国民议会主席，因在国民议会中担任立法者和演说者而声名鹊起，曾参与有关《人权宣言》的辩论，著有《希腊的原始社会》等，在制宪会议期间致力于制定宪法，反对建立共和国。 顾伟，曲阜师范大学翻译学院讲师，苏州大学翻译学在读博士。发表论文六篇，出版译著两部，主持市厅级课题三项，参与国家级、省部级课题各一项。

威尔•杜兰特（Will Durant，1885―1981），美国著名学者，终身哲学教授，普利策奖（1968年）和自由勋章（1977年）获得者。 他先后在美国圣彼得学院和哥伦比亚大学接受高等教育。后来进入哥伦比亚大学研究生物学，并在美国著名哲学家杜威的指导下攻读哲学，1917年获哥大博士学位。1926年，他出版了《哲学的故事》，获得出乎意料的成功。随后，他花了四十余年的时间完成了广受好评的重要著作——11卷的《世界文明史》。终其一生，杜兰特都热情致力于将哲学和知识从学术的象牙塔中解放出来。

米歇尔·德·塞尔托（Michelde Certeau），1925年5月出生在尚贝里城。他是一位充满好奇心、才华横溢且不墨守成规的智者。在接受了扎实的哲学、古典文献学、史学和神学教育之后，他于1950年加入了耶稣会，并在1956年获授圣职，此后一直没有离开。作为一位研究从文艺复兴到古典时期神学文本的历史学家，塞尔托对人类学、语言学以及心理分析学的方法都饶有兴趣。在巴黎、欧洲、美洲培养了大量的学生。1984年7月，离开加利福尼亚大学，返回法国社会科学高等研究院，主讲《信仰的历史人类学》。1986年1月9日，因罹患癌症卒于巴黎。 塞尔托学术视野开阔，研究见解独到、立论坚实、结构严谨，思想上的严格要求始终贯穿于其研究当中。他坚信普通人也有着一种创造性，而非处于被动，每一个人都可以发明一种“适当的”方式，在生命丛林中开辟出一条道路。
